What is favicon size?
There are some instructions indicate the ideal size of favicon. However, after a lot of discussions among professional web designers and users, the ideal size of favicon is 16×16 pixels. However, some designers may prefer larger size to increase the website explosion to user but the visual that should not distract the web address should be taken into account. It is still compulsory that the image must be in ICO format; this is because all browser could recognize this type of file rather than PGN or GIF format.
